Tiffany Edwards Hunt’s Sage Advice To Damon Tucker

3 01 2009

A few weeks ago fellow Big Island blogger Damon Tucker had a run in with the police at the Pahoa Post Office. I bit my tongue at that time because I didn’t think it was terribly newsworthy event. However over the past weeks I’ve changed my mind about the latter. Especially after reading Tiffany Edwards Hunt’s latest blog entry about blogging responsibly.

In my opinion, I don’t think Damon Tucker acted responsibly during that incident on that fateful Christmas Eve of 2008. Food for thought, Tiffany was able to take photographs of Pahoa Post Office without incident a few weeks earlier. But when Damon took photographs it created a major incident.Which was picked up by other Hawaii bloggers (here, and here).

In a nutshell, I really hope that Damon takes Tiffany’s sage advice to heart. He really needs to take a step back and re-examine how he does his blogging.

Thanks for the support Aaron ;)

Just playing… aren’t we glad we each have our own blogs and our able to express what we want.

It’s becoming rather silly that a simple incident at the post office has escalated.

Already made my comments on my blog posted “Pot Calling the Kettle Black”.

Just as me and you will always have our differences of opinions and often go back and forth over issues… I still to this day would go out and have a drink with you…. cept that would have to be a root beer now. ;)

Not sure I agree, Aaron. Public facilities, servants, politicians, Hawaii County Public Works Dep’t, Police Officers, all need to be need held accountable for their actions. Especially Police Officers since they are tasked with upholding our Constitutional freedoms.

For all we know Damon provoked the confrontation here in Pahoa…. when he was on Oahu he craved atention so much it got him in trouble! He is LOVING all this attention and I bet after this hes going to go out of his way to find trouble even more. I hope I never see that guy on my street, becuz disaster will surely follow……

I suggest you read this Aaron -

And please tell me how I should do my blogging? That would be interesting since it is my blog ;)

Aaron- Damon you don’t get it at all. Your gun slinging journalism is making all bloggers look bad. As far as the link, it said in bold letters I am not a Lawyer .Thus, I would suggest you consult with a real lawyer.

Jeremyg – Get real. Police records are easily available of anything I may have done on Oahu. Quit spreading BS.
