Hat tip to Hunter Bishop for blogging about the current gloomy economic picture Hawaii County is facing. In my view, I think Hawaii County and the rest of the State of Hawaii are in for a economic rough ride. Hopefully its not a severe end of the world downturn.
Lastly,in regards to the traffic congestion on the southbound lane on Queen Kaahumanu.It seems the primary culprit is the right turn lane on to Makala Blvd. The HDOT is trying to come up with a solution which won’t cost additional money.As much as the traffic congestion is irritating, it doesn’t make any sense to spend additional money for something that will be only temporary in nature.
