I went on a road trip to Hilo with my girlfriend yesterday. She took these pictures of the Saddle Road reconstruction between m.m 19 and m.m 28.

Look no hairpin turns 
It is good to see that they are putting a passing lane in on the steep parts of this new road
This was taken near m.m 21. Take note that its been recently paved
Near m.m 21. The reconstruction of this bad hairpin turn has not been completed yet
